The Wildensteiner Waterfall is with 54m height the largest plunge waterfall in Europe. It’s located right to the feets of the Hochobir, the waterfall itself is fed by springs in the mountain. The name derived from the noble family of Wildenstein, who’s caste near the waterfall was destroyed during the big earthquake of 1348.
