Located at the south shore of the Wörthersee, Reifnitz is a well know tourist village in Carinthia, famous for the annual „Wörtherseetour“ or “Auto News Wörthersee” better known as GTI-Treffen (GTI-Meeting). In honor of that, in 1987 a stone statue of the car was errected on the villages central park.
