The Arnulfturm is the most impressive part of the ruin “Arnulfsfeste”, also called “Hetzelburg”. First mentioned in 879, after the new new castle was build in the 16th century the old one was abandoned. The remaining ruings of the large tower are still impressive, with walls as thick as 2 m and the west wall still 17m high.
