The Turracher Höhe offers something for summer as well as winter tourism, when also the winter part is the more famous one. What makes it unique is that one half of the skiing resort is in Styria, while the other one is in carinthia – connected by a shuttle service over a frozen lake. Additionally to the the 14 lifts and 38 ski slopes, over 25 km of cross-country ski trails  have been carved in the snow around the resort and the lake offers as for ice skating and curling.
