Main part of the defence wall of Friesach, the remains of the Rotturm-facility at the hillside of Friesach were build during the 13th Century. Since the wall around the city is still standing, most of the lookout towers are in ruins now, just one of them got rebuild as a seminar center. The area is also a well known outlook spot for the city.
