This is the inner courtyard of the Landhaus, one of the first castles build in the city. It was build to protect the people of the city, later the elders of the nearby villages and towns held their meetings there. Today, the Landhaus is still home of the goverment of Carinthia, but it also features a museum about the history of the Landhaus and also a well known restaurant.
